History

The expertise and experience gained allows Stako to develop in the design and construction of cutting machines.

Stako through the years

Stako BV was founded in 1986 by Wim Peters and is still a family business.

From the founding of the company until 1989, Stako BV has been active as a service provider for well-known cutting machine suppliers. The expertise and experience gained during this period enabled Stako to develop the design and construction of cutting machines. The first one, the CNC cutting machine, was a fact in 1989! This machine was very successful and Stako's reputation also grew outside the Netherlands. Besides the Benelux and Germany, Stako has delivered machines all over the world.

Here are some more developments over the years.

Developments:

2020

Engineering, delivery and commissioning of a Magnum XL cutting system with a working area of 4,000 x 9,000 mm. This system was equipped for plasma cutting with a Kjellberg HiFocus power source and a laser sensor with software to scan products and to make a cutting file from this scan in order to cut this product or a counter product.

2019

This year, three Initium combination cutting machines were delivered for cutting with plasma and oxyfuel
$

2018

Commissioning of Magnum XL "Special", replacing an old machine. The machine was designed to fit on the existing track and over the existing tables. Delivery and commissioning of a Magnum XL in exchange for a Magnum that has "done its mileage". The new system with pantograph command unit for cutting welding edges is built in such a way that the existing water cutting table with a working area of 5,000 x 15,000 mm can continue to be used.

2017

Engineering, development and delivery of a Stako Magnum "XXL" with a high degree of automation for aotogenic cutting. Thanks to customer-specific programming of this Stako cutting machine, it is possible to cut three heavy plates simultaneously with six burners. Besides the cutting process, this system, which has a cutting area of 8,000 x 30,000 mm, is equipped with marking tools and a water table.

2016

Delivery and commissioning of a Trium cutting system with the pantograph unit developed by Stako for cutting weld edges with plasma and oxyfuel thanks to the intelligent changeover system. For fine drilling and precise inner contours, this system was also equipped with the water jet cutting process perfect to meet the needs of this customer

$

2016

Commissioning of a heavy-duty oxyfuel cutting machine for a major customer in India. This cutting system is equipped with ten oxyfuel cutting torches with integrated height measurement and internal ignition. It is also possible to mark products with powder
$

2015

With the "Initium", Stako presented a small, compact CNC cutting system with various options. A special or unique argument is the possibility of oxyfuel cutting next to plasma and the combination of oxyfuel and plasma in this machine segment.
